We were pleased to be asked to provide a bike for a national sponsored ride organised by Close Motor Finance. Motorcycle Development Managers Mike Chilvers and Gareth Walker will be taking part in the three day event visiting motorcycle dealers along the way and raising money for one of the motorcycling world's favourite charities, Riders For Heatlh who help to provide motorcycle transportation for African health workers operating in very tough terrain.
Starting on Monday 26 June in Southampton, the lads will journey towards Newcastle visiting motorcycle dealers in Swindon, Peterborough, Leicester, Coventry and Birmingham along the way. Day two visits Scotland with stops in Edinburgh, Falkirk and Glasgow, whilst finally on Wednesday the long journey will come to an end in Doncaster after stop offs at York and Leeds.
Mike comments: "The route is ambitious and will be hard work but all proceeds will be going to a worthy cause in Riders For Help. We are due to finish our journey the day before the big Riders For Health charity day at the Donington Park MotoGP where we hope to present at least £3000 to the charity organisers".
