Hunts Honda Support RideSafe BackSafe ...

Wednesday 1st July 2009 saw young riders from Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside descend on Salford’s beautiful quayside for the Geared & Go event held by RideSafe BackSafe.

106.1 Rock Radio provided the magnificent location for learner riders in the north west to improve their skills and help keep them safe on the road. The two half-day seminars provided participants with the opportunity to take part in an interactive seminar to learn about road safety, bike control, protective clothing and the routes to getting a motorcycle licence. Everyone who attended the event was given a RideSafe BackSafe goodie bag.

The event was supported by the Greater Manchester Police Motorcycle Team as well as Hunts Motorcycles. We sent our very own Peter “Pan” Wardle (an ex-Police rider with over 50 years motorcycling experience!) and Gareth from our sales team, to help outline the need for safe riding and to allow the attendees to see some of the latest Honda models that are available.

As one of the busiest Honda motorcycle dealers in the UK we are very keen to promote safe and enjoyable riding and are pleased to support the RideSafe BackSafe team in every way possible. Hunts Motorcycles will be at the “RideSafe Rendezvous” taking place next April in Blackpool with a selection of motorcycles and scooters from the 2010 Honda range along with some of the latest protective equipment stocked in our motorcycle clothing and accessories department.
