Thanks to everybody who came along to our recent VFR1200F launch weekend. After all the anticipation we were delighted that so many of you were at last able to ride the bike and the feedback we had was very positive indeed. Honda have put a huge amount of effort into developing this fantastic road sports machine, and from the reaction we had it was all worth it! - We confirmed several orders from customers who had waited to ride the bike and sold several more over the weekend too.
Special thanks also to Dave Hancock and Steve Tordoff from Honda UK who came along on Saturday. Dave gave us some great insights into the development of the VFR1200 (which he has been involved in from the outset) and we know that many of you chatted with both Dave and Steve throughout the day. We were even lucky with the weather which managed to stay dry (if not a little cold!), but didn't deter our test ride 'escorts' Peter, Mark, Derek and Mike from getting in quite some mileage over the weekend. We were also very pleased to have Michael Dunlop with us on Friday and Saturday. Michael will be riding our Fireblade Superstock bike in this year's TT and many other events, so we hope you can get to some of the meetings to see him in action. As any of you who met him over the weekend will already know, he's a great lad, and a fantastic rider too.
